Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.  –  John 14:1-3

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.  –  Revelation 22:20

I am glad that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and has promised me an eternal home with Him! I have a longing for home; to see and enjoy Him and be reunited with all my relatives and friends who are already there.

On Monday, June 11th, my sister-in-law, Wilma Jean Sinclair) (whom I loved as though she was my blood sister and “lil sis” to me) suddenly went home at the age of 69 and on the same day that her dad went home 45 years earlier at the age 0f 49. Her body was not declared dead til June 15 but the doctors said that she was gone on the 11th.

I know it is a selfish attitude but I sure wish Jesus would come and rapture us home right now! No more suffering of any type and no more temporary painful separations from those whom we love, who likewise belong to Him.

Sacrifice and spend as much time as possible with your family members as possible because you do not know how much time you will be able to do.

In the meantime, I am thankful that we can come to Him and receive from Him every type of grace that we need as we continue to faithfully serve Him.

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need”  – Hebrews 4:15-16.

“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you” – 1 Peter 5:10.

If Jesus Christ is not your Lord and Savior, repent of all your sin (Luke 13:3,5) and surrender your life to Him NOW, while you can!

“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life” – 1 John 5:12.

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” – Psalm 118:24

When we enjoy a day filled with blessings and enjoyable activities, we have no problem saying and agreeing with this statement from the Word of God. However, when we are going through a day of great difficulty and trials, do we so readily agree with it and rejoice in this great truth? In such times I can rejoice in the fact that my Lord has made the day because….

“The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee” – Jeremiah 31:3.

He proved His love by paying the penalty for all my sin and giving to me the gift of eternal life!

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” – Romans 6:23

Nothing will ever separate me from His love!

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” – Romans 8:38-39.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” – Hebrews 4:15-16.

“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” – Romans 8:32.

“…I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” – Hebrews 13:5.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” – Romans 8:37.

Yes, some days and experiences are very hard and can be very frightening, but I am so glad that we can rest upon our Lord’s everlasting, all powerful arms.

“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms:…” – Deuteronomy 33:27.

Secret Things!

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

-Deuteronomy 29:29

Many times we go through tough experiences or see people we love go through  them and wonder why. Many times we may never see the reasons in this life and will have to wait until we get home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Instead of focusing on the things that our Lord wants to remain a secret, we need to trust His wisdom and love. When we can see His hand, we need to trust His heart! We have the wonderful promise in Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

I didn’t like to see Sweetness (my wife) go through some of the things that she has had to go through nor do I like to see her have to experience dialysis,  which eventually she will have to do unless our Lord does a miracle. I can ask the Lord  “Why” and I may not get an answer until I get to Heaven. It may be one of His secret things but I do know that I and Sweetness can trust Him, because no one loves and cares for us as much as He does and it is impossible for Him to make a mistake.

So if you are going through one of His secret things, don’t become bitter or believe that the Lord has something against you. Satan would love to have you do just that. No, cling to the loving arms of your Lord and Savior, enjoy the intimacy of His fellowship, and let Him comfort, strengthen, and empower you to bear abundant fruit to the praise of His glory.

If He is not your Lord and Savior, come to him right now. Ask Him to forgive you of all your sins and surrender your life to Him.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” – Romans 10:13.

The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him,
and delivers them. – Psalm 34:7

The “angel of the LORD” in our text refers to the pre-incarnate appearance of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the Old Testament. What a wonderful promise we can claim!

The Lord Jesus surrounds all those who fear (love, reverence, delight in Him, enjoy Him because there is no area of their live that is not submitted to Him) and He delivers them.

We go through a lot of trials and difficulties in our earthly journey, and it is a terrific comfort to know that He is in us, with us and will never forsake us (Matthew 28:20; Hebrews 13:5). We can count on Him for deliverance and eventually the greatest deliverance into His presence by death or the Rapture. I would love for the Rapture to take place at this very moment!

If you don’t have this tremendous assurance because He is not your Lord and Savior, repent of all your sin (Luke 13:3,5) and surrender your life to Him right now!

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” – 1 John 5:12.
